About us

Arena Civic Theatre is a non-profit community theatre organization located in Greenfield, Massachusetts. Founded in 1970 by Ann Christern, ACT produced a full summer season at the Franklin County Fairground’s Roundhouse from 1971 through 1986. Beginning in 1987, ACT tried out several new venues before becoming a resident company at the newly renovated Shea Theater in Turners Falls in 1990.
